Torcello is a quiet island with a sparse population located at the northern end of the Venetian Lagoon. Trowel is the oldest continuously populated region of Venice. This town one help the biggest population of the Republic of Venice. Trowel was close with Constantinople who they still traded with after the fall of the western Roman Empire.
There are some important places that are visited by many today. Like the Central Torcello, with the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the Church of Santa Fosca, Last Judgement a 12th-century Byzantine mosaic from Torcello Cathedral and Ponte del Diabolo or “Devil’s Bridge” a bridge made of stone or arch bridges that represent significant technological achievement.
